Energy for innovation

Join us at the Gróska Auditorium for an extensive talk on energy for innovation during Innovation Week.

Iceland has set some bold and ambitious goals for the future! In just seven years, we plan to halve our usage of fossil fuels, and in a mere seventeen years, we're aiming to be entirely free of their grip. This requires lots of green energy, innovation, and courage.

Thankfully, we have some mighty allies in this battle. Meet Blámi, Eimur, Eygló, and Orkídea - a team brimming with knowledge, innovation, and bravery. In this hour long event, we'll hear from innovative leaders as they discuss their strategy for achieving these ambitious goals.

Landsvirkjun and the Ministry of the Environment, Energy and Climate are the main owners of Blámi, Eimur, Orkídea, and Eygló, along with a diverse group of stakeholders from across the country. Together, they've tackled numerous innovative projects, supported entrepreneurs, and facilitated energy exchange projects for essential companies.

So, hold on tight and get ready for an energizing and enlightening conversation on how we can build a better, greener future for Iceland and the world!
